■ Background of the Collaboration
Through a wide range of lectures, ATMOVIE GLOBAL TRACK has empowered talented fellows to refine their original film concepts for international coproductions. While international coproduction offers expanded funding streams and creative scope, many creators face hurdles in building cross-cultural trust and navigating communication outside their native language.
TTB excels at cultivating the mindset and relationship-building skills required for international filmmaking. Recognizing their shared mission to support film professionals on the global stage, ATMOVIE GLOBAL TRACK partnered with TTB to bring this initiative to life.
By hosting an open session at TIFFCOM 2026 alongside the fellow-only workshop, the organizers aim to share insights with the broader film industry and expand the network of Japanese filmmakers taking on international challenges.
